Biography of Alhaji Ali Bukar Dalori

Early Life and Background

Alhaji Ali Bukar Dalori was born on June 16, 1962, in Dalori town, Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State, Nigeria. Raised in a modest environment, he developed the values of hard work, perseverance, and service to others from an early age. 

These qualities would later define his journey as a public servant, businessman, philanthropist, and national political leader.

Entry into Public Service

His political journey began in 1991, when he was elected as a Councilor in Konduga Local Government. This early role gave him firsthand experience in grassroots politics and the needs of ordinary citizens. 

Just a year later, in 1992, he was elected Chairman of Konduga Local Government Area, where he worked to strengthen local governance and implement development initiatives that improved lives at the community level.

Political Leadership and APC Role

Over the years, Alhaji Dalori grew in influence within Nigeria’s political space, known for his strategic mobilization skills and deep grassroots connections. His leadership within the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been significant.

In August 2023, he was appointed as the Deputy National Chairman (North) of the APC, a recognition of his leadership in Northern Nigeria and his ability to unite diverse groups within the party. His credibility and dedication soon elevated him to the role of Acting National Chairman of the APC, where he continues to guide the party at a national level, focusing on unity, inclusivity, and development-oriented leadership.

Business and Entrepreneurship

Beyond politics, Alhaji Dalori is an accomplished entrepreneur. He has established successful ventures in commodities trading and the automobile industry, contributing to local economies and creating opportunities for employment.

His business acumen has complemented his political career, reinforcing his reputation as a pragmatic leader who understands both governance and enterprise.

Philanthropy and Community Service

Philanthropy is a cornerstone of Alhaji Dalori’s life. He has consistently supported communities through donations, empowerment programs, and grassroots initiatives.

Notably, during Ramadan 2024, he donated ₦100 million to support vulnerable families, reflecting his enduring commitment to humanitarian service. This act of generosity is just one among many examples of his dedication to uplifting the less privileged in society.
